The Hotel is superbly situated in the ever popular resort of Shanklin, and while we are merely a few steps from the beach it also provides a central base for the many fine coastal and countryside walks that are available in the area. We are conveniently located close to the picturesque Shanklin Old Village, which is just a few minute walk.

The Esplanade Hotel is a beautifully appointed, family owned and managed beachside Hotel, with fabulous panoramic views across Sandown Bay. We have a growing reputation for a friendly atmosphere, great service and quality food.

Our popular Cafe-Bar and Restaurant, featuring a varied menu consisting of daily specials and traditional favourites, is open all day, and is an ideal venue for traditional and continental breakfasts, morning coffee, lunches, cream teas and relaxing evening meals. Our beach facing restaurant patio is a favourite spot to relax with one of our specialty ice creams or coffees, and take in the wonderful views across the bay towards the white cliffs of Culver Down.

Our Hotel accommodation is offered in a selection of double or family bedrooms, 2 room family suites or the luxuriously spacious Alverstone suite. All feature colour TV's and hospitality trays.
