If you are looking for that special place to stay in York, then look no further than the Hollies, where you can be assured of high standards of comfort and cleanliness. We pride ourselves in offering superb breakfasts with individual diets catered for.
A distinctive Edwardian residence where a more friendly accommodation is hard to find. The house is situated within easy walking distance of the city centre via the picturesque riverside promenade or short walk into Town.
The Hollies has recently undergone extensive refurbishment to provide the comforts of modern living yet retaining the original features of the house. Whilst no two letting rooms are the same - each having their own style and decor - you can expect the same high standard of cleanliness, hospitality and service throughout your stay.
All guest rooms have shower ensuite facilities. They are of a quality that you can expect from a business that builds it's reputation on attention to detail and personal service. Room rates include full cooked English breakfast or Continental breakfast. Vegetarian diets catered for.

The Guesthouse is ideally situated within easy walking distance of the city centre - a particularly pleasurable experience when using the nearby treelined riverside promenade - yet only a short drive away from the surrounding beautiful countryside, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors.

Aysgarth Falls Wensleydale is the setting for Aysgarth Falls which cover almost a one-mile stretch of the River Ure.
The falls are quite spectacular outside the dry weather, as thousands of gallons of water cascade over the rock ledges
Castle Howard Castle Howard is one of Britain's finest stately homes, located in the beautiful Howardian Hills, fifteen miles northeast of the famous city of York.
Built in 1699, Castle Howard is, today, still the private home of the Howard family. As a major tourist attraction the house receives hundreds of thousands of visitors annually from all over the world, who come to enjoy a variety of delights.
