The Hope and Anchor is reputed to be one of the oldest buildings in the popular seaside village of Alnmouth. It hasm been an Inn for as long as people can remember and it's walls will no doubt carry secrets and stories, which only they can tell.

John and Barbara offer you a comfortable base from which you can enjoy the delights of the heritage coastline, golf courses, cycle ways, walks and wide sandy beaches.

There are 2 large family rooms, 5 double rooms and 1 single room all with ensuite showers and W.C. You can relax in our cosy and well stocked bar and re-fuel your energy levels in our informal restaurant.

Room rates are from £38 per person per night, Single occupancy is from £40.

We can also provide ample room and catering for that special occasion, be it a wedding reception, birthday party or business meeting.

Evening meals are availabel on request.
