Welcome to the Iron Duke Hotel and Pub. Built in 1828, the Iron Duke is proud to be the oldest running hotel in the Brunswick Area.

Brunswick Town (as this neighbourhood is called) is one of the most historically preserved Georgian planned communities in the South of England, and arguably the nicest neighbourhood in the Brighton/Hove area.

The Iron Duke’s hotel rooms are comfortable, bright and spacious, with rooms that sleep from two to four people.

If you’re looking for somewhere to accommodate a large group for a hen or stag weekend, a friends reunion, or a business trip, special rates are offered for larger groups of 12- 25 people.

If you’re working in Brighton during the week, please do call us as we can offer special rates for longer durations.

Our kitchen serves delicious locally sourced food, all prepared in house by our chef.

We serve food Wednesday –Friday – 12-30 3:00pm and 5:30 – 9:00pm Saturday and Sunday noon – 6:00pm

Diners can choose to eat either in the bar or our separate dining room.

We also offer private dining facilities either within the above hours or outside by arrangement. If you’re looking for a private meal for 5 – 25 people our private dining room is ideal. We offer a range of options from more relaxed buffets through to full formal meals.

The Iron Duke bar areas were freshly remodelled in 2006 with all the rooms renovated in 2004.
