The Port is a luxury cottage situated a few yards from the beaches and harbour of Charlestown St.Austell. Charlestown harbour was a port development planned by local landowner Charles Rashleigh and was built between 1790-1810 for the export of cooper and china clay. Today Charlestown still remains one of the most sort after places to visit.
