Jayne and Mike, (a Michelin starred chef), would like to welcome you to The 4 Star VB Three Lions, a gem in the New Forest National Park.

Within this beautiful setting, The Three Lions is a place in which to relax with good food and fine wines; to come and go as you please, without the formality of a hotel.

All our luxurious double bedrooms are ensuite, overlooking two acres of gardens and the peaceful forest beyond. Rooms can be made up as either a double or twin to suit your requirements.

We have recently extended our accommodation to include a superior family room - ideal for families or those requiring a bit more space.

Some rooms are suited for guests who are less mobile, being on the ground floor with easy access to the restaurant. Our new block is all a ground level and within easy reach of the main building and car park, as well as opening directly onto the quiet gardens.

For food and wine lovers, our style of cuisine is modern British/French. Each dish is cooked personally for you by Mike. Every ingredient is treated with the utmost respect, using exact technique where balance and depth of flavour are all important.

The menu is firmly based on the best local produce which we are lucky to have in abundance throughout the seasons.

The traditional bar is stocked with Ringwood real ales, and the 150 bin wine list reflects some of the worlds best wine makers as well as some of the less well known ones.

Winter or summer, the unique countryside of the New Forest is so accessible, and bears its fruit through exploration by car, hiring a mountain bike, on foot or on horseback.

In order to enjoy the surrounding countryside to the full, we suggest you bring along suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.

The Dorset and Hampshire coastline and Poole harbour are also close by, offering costal walks and sandy beaches.

The cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester are a stones throw away. For the theatre lover, Salisbury, Southampton, Bournemouth and Poole offer a wide range of productions.

For the more energetic, there is a comprehensive leisure pool centre and gym just a few minutes drive away.

Great family attractions such as Marwell Zoo, Paulton's Fun Park and the famous Beaulieu Car Museum are all nearby.
