Description
Thorne Manor provides the perfect setting for a holiday or a short break. We can offer you top quality luxury accommodation in the beautiful Somerset countryside.
The rooms are spacious and most comfortable, with superior furnishings. Guest accommodation comprises a large double/twin room (en-suite), and lounge with TV - both overlook the courtyard. Thorne Manor is a non-smoking house.
Behind the house is a large terraced, walled garden, with colourful perennial borders where guests are welcome to relax and enjoy the spacious views across neighbouring farmland to Wellington Monument and the Blackdown Hills.
A full English breakfast is served for hearty appetites - cooked on the Aga. Wherever possible, breakfast produce at Thorne Manor is sourced from local suppliers.
Thorne Manor is a traditional working farm of 175 acres which has been in the Hasell family for two generations. Most of the farm is now under permanent grassland pasture which provides grazing for our Abderdeen Angus suckler herd. The farm is managed sensitively under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme with emphasis on protection of wildlife habitats, with field margins, and no use of fertilizer.
We look forward to welcoming you!
