Attractions
Centrally based in relation to all that south west Wales has to offer, Ty Cerrig is the ideal stop-over en route to many family attractions and beaches. Many guests have also found us a well positioned situation for the ferry crossing to Ireland, either from Pembroke Dock or Fishguard.
If you are looking for a lively resort, then Tenby or Saundersfoot are the places to head for. Lovely sandy beaches combine with shops and cafes, to give a relaxed atmoshphere.
Quieter beauty spots within about 15 min.drive include; Amroth and Wiseman's Bridge for a picturesque stroll, Llansteffan, with it's historic castle, Pendine, with it's amazingly long beach and coastal path walk and Laugharne, with it's Dylan Thomas connections.
If you are searching for a more active break, then we are suitably placed for access to many of South Wales' popular destinations. Oakwood Leisure Park is a good day out for families who enjoy theme park rides.
There are several reputable golf courses in the area, at Carmarthen or Tenby, and the millenium coastal path is a lovely area to cycle (where cycles can be hired if you do not bring your own). There is a choice of local coarse fishing lakes for serious anglers or pleasure fishermen, and a quad bike centre and a go-karting centre within a few minutes' drive. The surrounding area is a walker's delight, with an abundance of woodland, coastal paths or beach walks.
For nature lovers, there is the National Botanical Garden of Wales within a short drive, as well as Colby Woodland Garden. Wildlife boat trips to see seals, dolphins and various sea birds run from Tenby and other local harbours.
If the weather is not so good, there are attractions which are partly, or all under cover, including Folly Farm, Dyfed Shires + Leisure Farm, CC2000 Bowling + Crystal Maze, Nantycoy Mill, Creative Cafe,Narberth, Silent World Aquarium,Tenby and Pemberton Welsh Chocolate Factory, to name but a few!
