Description
Welcome to Pembrokeshire and our farm. This has been a family run farm for the past 50 years. We have a purely milking herd, and the milk is used in the production of Welsh mozzarella.
We can accommodate up to four adults in two double rooms. Both rooms have private bathroom facilities. Guests also have the use of a comfortable lounge and conservatory. Please note, we ask guests not to smoke in the house.
The front lawns, with woodburner (view from here pictured above right), are also for the use of our guests, and ideal for a relaxing glass of wine on a summer evening. If you would care to walk in the vacant fields you are most welcome.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, usually between 8 and 9.30 am, but we can make this any reasonable time to suit you. Menus are provided in the rooms, and we should very much appreciate knowing your preferred time and choices the night before. Other meals can be provided by arrangement.
Suite 1: Bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe, dressing table, chairs and television. Kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplies. Opposite the bedroom is a spacious bathroom with freestanding bath, wash hand basin, wc.
Suite 2: Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, chairs and television. Kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate supplies. Opposite the bedroom is a spacious shower room with shower, wash hand basin, wc.
We also have a Self catering cottage available:-
Gardeners Cottage is a cosy retreat tucked away behind the owners farmhouse on their working dairy. Situated a short drive from Abereiddy beach and Solva harbour. Thoughtfully and stylishly furnished and decorated with the guests comfort in mind, this is the perfect romantic cottage. With a log burning stove set in a traditional inglenook for those chilly winter evenings and a luxurious four poster bed complete with drapes. A prettily planted lawned garden area is ideal for sipping a cool glass of wine on a long summer evening while admiring the lovely rural views. The perfect luxury getaway for 2.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Attractions
Well placed for exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside, we are about 10 minute's drive from the charming coastal town of Solva, with St Davids just a little further up the coast.
Pembrokeshire has a wealth of historical attractions - numerous castles and churches, and the beautiful cathedral at St Davids.
The countryside here also provides a haven for outdoor pursuits - walking the coast path, cycling, horse riding and of course water sports.
For the energetic we might suggest kayaking along the coast or on the river, or surfing. For the more adventurous, Pembrokeshire has some excellent coastal rock climbing or you may care to book a day's coasteering - a combination of swimming, scrambling and jumping into the sea.
