John and Sue Eames welcome you to a listed farmhouse on a 300 acre mixed farm.
Set on the edge of a beautiful, peaceful rural.
Village 2 miles from Chard well situated for visiting Devon, Dorset and the many tourist attractions of Somerset.
WAMBROOK FARM is situated in the picturesque Blackdown Hills, an AONB (area of outstanding natural beauty), two miles from Chard in a peaceful rural village. The farmhouse and buildings are listed and there is a very unusual granary in the farmyard, which is often mistaken for a chapel.
We are an organic mixed farm. We keep sheep which lamb in April, suckler cattle, rear heifers for dairy farms, and also grow some corn. We are also diversifying on the farm into green roofs in the form of sedum matting grown by a local company, which is an exciting new project.
1 double en suite, 1 family (double and single) with en suite.
All rooms have TV and tea/coffee making facilities and a guests TV/sitting room.

Wambrook Farm is ideally located halfway from London to the famous Eden Project in Cornwall 'The Largest greenhouse on earth'. All destinations below are within an easy drive.
Honiton, the antique centre of the South-west has 38 shops to explore.
National Trust Properties, Historic Homes and Gardens - Forde Abbey, Killerton, Tintinhull, Barrington Court, Margery Fish Gardens at East Lambrook Manor, Montacute, Hestercombe gardens.
Exeter - of roman origin and has a wonderful cathedral, numerous specialty shops eateries and the historic quay.
Lyme Regis and Charmouth - the Jurassic world heritage coast. Hire a hammer and try fossil hunting for a few hours.
Family attractions - Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park, Crealy Adventure Park, Pecorama (model trains), Seaton Tramway, Longleat, Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary, Fleet air Arm Museum, Perrys Cider Mills and lots more.
