Description
Excellent accommodation and warm welcome waiting at this lovely B&B, a short level walk by park/riverside (5 minutes) to Bakewell town centre. Guests have their own key to a separate entrance leading to two modern, clean, bright, double en-suite bedrooms, quite separate from the remainder of the house.
Outside is a small seating area to enjoy the numerous potted plants and flowers in season. One parking space per couple is provided on the drive. Recently awarded 4 stars by Visit Britain.
Highly complimented breakfasts are served in the fresh summery dining room. We supply guests with our menu each evening allowing them to choose either full English or lighter alternatives for the following day. Breakfast is served at separate tables or large table for party of four.
Tariff 2008: from £27 to £35 per person per night including a full English breakfast or alternative. Single occupancy is subject to a supplement. Prices are based on number of nights stay and season.
Children over 12 are welcome.

Attractions
The famous, ancient market town of Bakewell lies in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The capital of the Peak , this small town is packed with shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes.
Monday being the liveliest day of the week when the oldest market in the area takes place. There is also a large cattle market held here.
No visit to Bakewell would be complete without sampling a pudding from one of the local bakeries. Many picturesque villages surround the area with the larger towns of Buxton, Matlock and Chesterfield close by.
The area is superb for walkers and cyclists with beautiful countryside and trails waiting to be explored. Bakewell is also close to many interesting attractions, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, both a short drive away. Please see the attractions page for in-depth information of the Peak District area.
