Windsor House is a delightful bed and breakfast in Torrington, North Devon and is a Period Former Farmhouse in an area full of varied and interesting things to do! We are just a 5 minute walk to the Town Square, Pannier Market and Commons.
Guests are welcome to enjoy our very private gardens with various seating areas or upon request enjoy the facilities in our cellar which includes a full sized snooker table, dart board and shove-halfpenny board Guests are welcome to use the small fitness area. We are also able to offer guests with bicycles the use of a building to store their bikes under lock and key.
We are able to offer guests with mobility issues the use of a downstairs bedroom with en-suite shower room. The shower has double half doors which open in or out in order to take a wheelchair.
All well furnished bedrooms are tastefully decorated and have en-suite facilities or private bathroom, each has colour T.V and beverages.

RHS Garden Rosemoor is very close by!
Situated just 20 mins drive to the nearest beach and 1 mile from the Tarka Trail and cycle hire at the Puffing Billy. The Tarka Trail covers 180 miles of footpaths and cycleways.
Named after Tarka the Otter these creatures can be spotted off the bridges along the Trail especially at Beam Weir.
Torrington is surrounded by common land and is a haven for walkers and wildlfe.
Great Torrington is set on a high plateau giving magnificent views over the River Torridge and countryside.
The town has Georgian buildings and 17th Century inns, it is famous for it's Civil War History, it's unspoilt Common Land, it's annual May Fair, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the 1646 Civil War attraction.
There is a Golf Course, Heated Swimming Pool and Cinema/Theatre. It is also within easy reach of the Tarka Trail.
This is an ideal base from which to sample the delights of the North Devon coast - Hartland, Clovelly, Westward Ho!, Croyde, Woolacombe and Ilfracombe; spend time in the historic market towns of Barnstaple, and Bideford or explore the wilds of Dartmoor or Exmoor.
