Woodpeckers is a luxury bed and breakfast, you have the privacy of your own bungalow in the grounds of our house for as long as your stay, our aim is to make that as relaxing as possible for you. The bungalow comprises of a double bedroom bathroom with bath and shower and your own sitting room with leather seating. Breakfast on free range eggs from our own chicken and local produce. Eveining meals by arrangement.

We are 10 minutes from the small market town of Romsey, situated on the banks of the river test. The Abbey dates back to Norman times and Romsey plays host to the Beggars fair and carnival in July.

The New Forest is also 10 minutes from our door with pretty villages to visit including Lyndhurst, Bucklers hard. Burley and Beaulieu where you will find the motor museum and home of Lord Montague.

You can catch a ferry from Lymington over to the Isle of Wight for the day.

Salisbury is about 15 minutes from our door , where you will find the cathedral which is Britains tallest spire, the worlds best preserved Magna Carta and Europes oldest working clock. Situated in a large medieval close .

Stonehenge built around 5000 years ago and host to the summer solstice on the first day of summer 21st June.

Also Dunwood golf course is within walking distance and Paultons golf course a short drive away.
