Gages Mill is a Grade 2 listed 14th century former Wool Mill situated at the Southern Gateway to the Dartmoor National Park, one mile from the centre of the ancient Stannary Town of Ashburton with its many pleasant slate hung buildings and projecting first storeys and only minutes from the A38.
Gages Mill stands in over an acre of lawned gardens surrounded by trees and farmland, and has ample guest parking spaces. The building has been carefully converted to retain its original character, whilst offering every modern comfort.
We offer 7 en-suite bedrooms, including one twin bedded room on the ground floor. Each room is tastefully decorated in it's own individual style. All rooms have open countryside views, central heating, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and digital alarm/clock radios.
Our Guest TV lounge has a wonderfully cosy feel with comfortable seating and exposed original Granite walls with a real flame fireplace. A granite arch leads into the Dining room which has a licenced bar and additional Lounge seating for guests.

This medieval manor granted by the Crown to the de Launcelles family in the 13th Century lies in its own sheltered and secluded valley on the outskirts of the old Market Town of Crediton.
Combe Lancey is a 150 acre beef and sheep farm and is approached by either of its private roads. It is situated less than a mile by Public Footpath over the hill from Crediton High Street and about one mile from the pretty village of Sandford.
The beamed accommodation is within the old cob and timbered Linhay which forms part of the Grade II Listed 15th Century thatched Manor House.
It offers south-facing views of the valley over the formal gardens and, together with the en-suite Bathroom and separate Breakfast Room, provides complete privacy in comfortable surroundings.
A sitting-out area is provided for guests on the back lawn with views of the cider orchard and surrounding fields.

The current owners are Paul and Birgitt. Paul was actually born in the house and works locally as a Paramedic. He can assist guests with his wealth of local knowledge. His wife Birgitt runs their warm and friendly Bed and Breakfast.

Westward is a Grade II listed house build in the 1890s and was first owned by a mine captain. The rooms are comfortable and modern and our walled garden offers a tranquil retreat after a day's sightseeing.
We have three bedrooms, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. The spacious family room has an en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower and a double and single bed. The double room overlooks our delightful rear garden and also has an en-suite shower room. Located on the ground floor, our single room is compact but cosy with its own shower and toilet located on the floor above.
Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and colour television. The double and family rooms also have video recorders and guests are welcome to make use of our small but varied film library.
We offer a full English breakfast, prepared using local produce, including award-winning sausages from Howells Butchers of Tavistock. A vegetarian option is always available.
We are only a few minutes' walk from the town's varied choice of restaurants and pubs which offer visitors a choice of Thai, Mexican, Indian, Italian and modern European cuisine.
