A warm welcome awaits you at our cosy ‘home away from home’, nestled on the harbourside in the idyllic village of Kyleakin, just over the Bridge on the Isle of Skye. The White Heather is a small, non smoking, family run hotel, with just 9 immaculately presented, ensuite bedrooms, enabling us to provide that personal touch often missing in larger hotels. We are more than happy to cater for both individual holidays and group bookings - up to 22 guests in total. If you want to have the place totally to yourselves, however, we would recommend you make your block booking well in advance. For anything from a family get-together to a religious retreat, the White Heather combines a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a high standard of service, designed to make your stay with us a most memorable one! There are 2 guest lounges for you to make use of throughout the day and evening. Highland life is all about taking life that little bit slower so why not make the most of it - pick a lounge, settle yourself in to a comfy sofa and just relax: enjoy the view for a while, watch the fishing boats and yachts as they come and go in the harbour, the ever changing scenery as the tide goes out or the constantly shifting colours and shadows across Beinn na Caillich. There’s so much to see and yet so little actually happening you can’t help but fall in love with the area - we did! In the morning enjoy your very own ‘breakfast with a view.’ We pride ourselves on offering a veritable feast, and when combined with that fantastic view, there really couldn’t be a better way to start your day! Ashbank Guest House retains many original Victorian features and is situated in an elevated position overlooking splendid views to hills and the River Forth Valley and offering a quiet haven in an otherwise busy part of Central Scotland. We are 3 miles east of Falkirk, a historic market town, and now a thriving community between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Our comfortable double, twin and family rooms are individually decorated and all have en-suite facilities. Full breakfasts are served in the dining room and all food types are catered for. Complimentary tray with refreshments in each room. Ashbank is set within pleasant gardens and there is ample off-street parking. All transport links provide access to M9 motorway and mainline trains to cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling. Enjoy the local Visitor Attractions including Callendar House and the Falkirk Wheel. Off-street parking, pick-ups available. Peace and quiet after a hard day’s business or travel.

Craigievar is run by husband and wife team Jack & Jacqui Gold. There is free parking outside the bungalow for 7 cars. We have three family sized en suite bedrooms, two with shower-rooms. Your accommodation is in a purpose-built extension and you will have your own key access - come and go as you please at any time - its like having your own flat. Accessible One is a half-tiled bathroom fully equipped for wheelchair users (with supervision). All are purpose-built for your benefit and incorporate electric heating, TV point, hair dryer, shaver point, wall and ceiling lights and numerous power points. All bathrooms have power showers, a heated towel rail and extractor fans. All bedrooms have one double bed, one single and one pull-out. An internet connection is available in the main bungalow. There is a Gym with a swimming pool nearby at the Marriot Hotel which guests can use for just £12 for a full day pass. We are proud of our newly designed garden, with waterfall centrepiece, all peacefully located to rear of house for our guests to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you!
