The White House is a well established and popular non-smoking bed & breakfast located on the edge of the village of Broadwell in the heart of the Forest of Dean. Here the patient and quiet walker can see rare birds like Goshawks, Kites and Wrynecks, and at Symonds Yat, the Peregrines, that every year raise their young on the sheer cliffs over-looking the River Wye. While deeper into the forest you may be lucky enough to see some of the many Deer, Badgers and Foxes that abound. If you’re really lucky (if that’s the right word) you may even get to see one of the fabled “Big Cats” that are being seen more and more.

We offer a warm welcome, peace and tranquility in our refurbished Orchard Suite with lovely views across our 8 acres of garden, orchards and brook to oak woodland, through which you can walk to the local pub in about 30 mins (5 by car).
