Our rooms are simple but clean and spacious with TV's and tea and coffee making facilities, and we offer a very competitive bed and breakfast rate. Perfect for those wanting to break the journey across the border, and an ideal base too for those wishing to stay around and explore Northumberland. We've asked many people what they want from their accommodation, and we tend to find that generally value for money, cleanliness and well maintained comes top of the list. We'd like to add 'convenience' to that list too - imagine arriving back after a day out, pop in the bar for a drink, order your meal either in the bar or restaurant, spend the night relaxing and then off to bed ready for another day, which of course starts with a hearty Northumbrian breakfast.

WEST CAWLEDGE PARK was a typical Northumbrian dairy farm supplying milk to Alnwick until the 1950’s the cows moved on, the farm bumped along, into retirement. The land was dispersed in the mid 60’s to adjoining farmers. By 1978 the farm house and buildings had reached rock bottom.(A bulldozer seemed the only solution) by luck and a little help from the Duke of Northumberland the farm house and buildings took a new roll, as a home, gallery and antique restoration workshops A massive building restoration project began which still continues today, we see the results of years of hard work and lots of vision! THE THRIVING ANTIQUES EMPORIUM still continues today.
Only ALNWICK LODGE has the advantages of a superb ever changing backdrop of furniture, works of art, and beds old and new. YES your bed is for sale.
