The Beresford Arms Hotel was built at the turn of the century in Ashbourne, and is an impressive mock Tudor building. The Tissington Trail is opposite the hotel. Alton Towers is 15 minutes away, as is Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Calke Abbey. The hotel has 18 very comfortable bedrooms, a fully licensed bar and restaurant, which serves of specially prepared locally sourced foods. All rooms are en suite with colour TV, hospitality tray, telephone and trouser press. A wide variety of rooms are available, from singles to family rooms for 5 people. Full free wi-fi connection in hotel.

Compton House is situated in the charming historic market town of Ashborne, with the magnificent St. Oswalds Church dating from the 14th century, and it's fine Georgian architecture.
We are a family run guest house with accent on good food and accommodation with a warm friendly atmosphere.
Originally our home was three terraced cottages, which have been converted into one, rather individual house and has been our home since 1986.
There are five bedrooms, all en-suite, with colour televisions, radio, hairdryer, plus a well stocked tea and coffee tray.
All rooms have double beds, and the two larger rooms also have a single bed, so can be used as twin or family rooms. Two rooms can be let as single rooms if required.
One of the double rooms is on the ground floor overlooking the garden.
A comfortable sitting room with colour television is available for your relaxation. Breakfast is served in our well appointed dining room, with a patio door overlooking our pleasant garden.
Being in town we are only a few minutes walk from several good pubs and restaurants, and we are only to willing to provide any aditional information.
Like many other establishments these days, we have a no-smoking policy.
Parking is provided at the rear of the house within a fenced in garden.
Rooms are available from 3.30p.m. but if needed we are happy to make them available earlier. A deposit of £25.00 per room or a credit card number is requested on booking.

Newton House is set in 2 acres of lush gardens, set back from the A515, in the Peak District National Park 8 miles from Ashbourne. The House adjoins the Tissington Trail and is excellently placed for exploring the gorges and dales. This is fabulous limestone country with caves, valleys, tranquil pastures and stone-built villages.There are 28 Bedrooms at Newton House. Single, Twin and Family rooms are available. Youll find complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and clock radio. Televisions and telephones are not provided in the bedrooms. Public lounge and lounge bar.The hotel is ideally suited to guests on activity holidays especially walking.Dining is communal with evening meals available at 7.00pm - please arrive before 6.30pm and if possible advise estimated time of arrival.

Offcote Grange Cottage Holidays are now able to offer luxurious ensuite Bed and Breakfast in Derbyshire with a delicious home cooked breakfast. We use locally reared, rare breed meats and eggs from our local speciality farm. The taste is second to none.
We are located in a lovely rural setting, surrounded by pastureland peacefully grazed by cattle and sheep. This is a great area for walking and just 2 miles from the pretty historic market town of Ashbourne,9 miles from Matlock and 14 miles from Bakewell.
All rooms are ensuite and fully centrally heated.
One of our Twin Rooms has an en-suite, plus an en-suite Sauna and large projector/cinema screen. The price includes 1 sauna and film per evening.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the rooms. Evening meals may be arranged to suit and packed lunches on request.
We have a shared dining room, a lounge with log fire is available for your relaxation.The lounge has a TV, video, DVD and music system for you to enjoy. There are a selection of videos and books for your use. We have a lovely garden for you to relax in.

There are 5 comfortable bedrooms, four of which are double and one twin giving sleeping capacity for 10 . Within these rooms are 2 further single beds and 2 Z beds the latter of which can be moved around the rooms to accommodate guests giving total sleeping for 14.
This exceptional detached country cottage is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens containing two fish filled ponds, with frogs, toads and other wildlife, it is covered by lillies and colourful marginal plants. Local wild ducks ,moorhens and young are now in permanent residence. The ponds are securely fenced for the safety of children.
