Axmouth was once a smuggling centre and important port. It is now a delightful country village, featuring fine examples of 18th & 19th Century farmhouses and cottages, and within easy access to the coast at Seaton.
The village is home to a lovely old church, two local inns and a Post Office/store. The Axe estuary is a haven for birds throughout the year and makes a dog friendly pleasant walk to the pretty Axe Harbour and Axe Cliff Golf Club.

Beaumont enjoys an unrivalled location in the seaside town of Seaton. It is on the sea front, at the edge of the town, close to shops, restaurants and to all of the leisure and sporting facilities offered by the town.
Fully en suite bedrooms with showers, clock radio and remote control colour TV, tea and coffee making with biscuits, hair dryers and toiletries.

There is a ground floor room available.
All rooms are spacious, airy and tastefully decorated.
All first floor rooms have outstanding views over Lyme Bay and the cliffs of Beer.

Small dogs by prior arrangement only.
We have space to park seven cars off road, but this requires some car owners to leave their keys with us. There is ample parking space in town and overnight free parking nearby.
There are seven restaurants, five takeaways and three cafes within a few minutes walk.
There are four pubs, three with restaurant facilities, just a few minutes walk away.
In the next village of beer there are further cafes, pubs, takeaways, wine bars and restaurants.
We can advise you on specialised restaurants and pubs in the locality.

Harepath Holidays at Peacehaven is a family run holiday business situated in the lovely East Devon Countryside by the sea near Seaton. We enjoy lovely views over the Axe Valley to the Axe Estuary and beyond to the sea.
With our flexible accommodation we can cater for a wide range of holiday needs from Bed & Breakfast for individuals and families, with evening meals available if required, to group bookings (up to 35) with catered and self catering options available. Our facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, games room, guests lounge, and Chapel and Conference suite all of which is set in over 5 acres of glorious East Devon Countryside. We have an abundance of wildlife for you to enjoy while at Peacehaven. In our grounds we have our own sheep, with lambs at various times of the year. Rabbits, squirrels, foxes, buzzards, woodpeckers, and hosts of other wild life commonly visit.
We have a variety of bedrooms, most of which are en-suite, from single rooms through to spacious family rooms which can sleep 6. We can also provide cots when required. All are well equipped and appointed and most have sea views.
We can also cater for celebration meals, conferences, and retreats, and our indoor heated swimming pool is available for hire.
