Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, Monkton Farleigh is an unspoilt, picturesque conservation village. The farmhouse is set in its own grounds with spectacular views over Wiltshire. Originally a barn dating back to the 1850's it has now been sympathetically converted to a high standard, retaining many of the original features. The village lies 5 miles south of Bath and 5 miles from the Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon. Our accommodation comprises of three charming double rooms, all of which are fully en-suite, one providing a queen-size bed. Our facilities can also include a family room, twin or single accommodation. We also have an extra, separate, guests' bathroom. All rooms are well-appointed with full central heating, hospitality trays, televisions, hair driers and radio/alarms. For additional comfort our guests can enjoy watching the television, playing the piano or just relaxing in the lounge which has the traditional features of oak beams and an open fire. From the lounge the french windows lead you onto a large patio with garden furniture, a childrens' play area, lawns and swimming pool. Cheddar, longleat, Stonehenge, the Cotswolds, Kennett & Avon Canal can be easily visited form Church Farm.

The Neeld Arms Inn, Grittleton is a 17th century, stone country inn is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the ancient and unspoiled village of Grittleton. Grittleton is situated a few miles off Junction 17 of the M4, close by are the picturesque places of Chippenham, Chipping Sodbury and Malmesbury. All rooms are en suite, individually decorated and furnished to offer an extremely pleasant and comfortable stay. All are equipped with modern appliances for todays discerning guest. The County of Wiltshire is situated at the gateway to the West Country, much of the County is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Few Counties in England can equal Wiltshires ancient monuments and burial grounds, a unique feature of its mystical landscape. Dining at the Neeld Arms is a pleasure. With Roaring log fires in the Winter and areas to eat outside in the Summer it is a truly friendly atmosphere. Good home-cooked food is made using only the best of local produce.
