Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, Monkton Farleigh is an unspoilt, picturesque conservation village. The farmhouse is set in its own grounds with spectacular views over Wiltshire. Originally a barn dating back to the 1850's it has now been sympathetically converted to a high standard, retaining many of the original features. The village lies 5 miles south of Bath and 5 miles from the Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon. Our accommodation comprises of three charming double rooms, all of which are fully en-suite, one providing a queen-size bed. Our facilities can also include a family room, twin or single accommodation. We also have an extra, separate, guests' bathroom. All rooms are well-appointed with full central heating, hospitality trays, televisions, hair driers and radio/alarms. For additional comfort our guests can enjoy watching the television, playing the piano or just relaxing in the lounge which has the traditional features of oak beams and an open fire. From the lounge the french windows lead you onto a large patio with garden furniture, a childrens' play area, lawns and swimming pool. Cheddar, longleat, Stonehenge, the Cotswolds, Kennett & Avon Canal can be easily visited form Church Farm.

Our Karma Sutra room may be a little risqu for some! All the rooms have full ensuite facilities, as well as effective lighting, a range of television channels, DVD (music and visual) and broadband access. The Bath Arms has opened a new treatment room called the Hip Bath, specialising in a wide range of treatments including Thai Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Hopi Candles and Facials. Using Circaroma, a 100% organic skin care range, The Hip Bath is available seven days a week however all treatments must be booked in advance.

Built in 1887 as the Local Shop, Post Office and General Store. The name was chosen in honour of Queen Victoria's youngest son who frequently used the Inn when he lived in the nearby village of Boyton.
