It lies in seven acres of garden, woodland and pasture and there are splendid views over the Tyne valley to the South.

The Reading Rooms Haydon Bridge is a 4* B&B situated in Northumberland's wonderful countryside.
Ideally located and plenty to see and do whether your interests be walking; cycling; fishing; golf; shopping or riding. We are surrounded by Heritage sites like Hadrian's Wall; National Trust Properties; The Lake District; the coast and castles of Northumberland and The Metro Centre all within an easy drive.
Every effort has been made to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All three rooms are en-suite; one is on the ground floor and two are suitable as family rooms. The rooms are light and two overlook the River South Tyne. All the rooms have televisions and hospitality trays. Breakfast is served between 7:30 am and 9:30 am unless by prior arrangement; guests can choose from full English; Continental; vegetarian or healthy options.
Easy parking; secure shed for cycles; drying room for boots; laundry service and provision of packed lunches are just some of the extras that are provided. Within the Village there is an excellent choice of Restaurant; Pub or Take away food; and after your meal why not wander around The John Martin Walk!

Both bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation are available at our 600 hundred acre hill farm, which is nestled in National Park within the Hadrian's Wall corridor.
The bed and breakfast contains three cosy, comfortable and relaxing ensuite rooms. Self catering accommodation is available in the newly-converted Cartshed, between January and March. Both the bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation are rated level two disability friendly.
We use local produce for our breakfasts. Evening meals and packed lunches are available if booked in advance and the premises are licensed.
We are located within walking distance of Hadrian's Wall and within one mile of cycle route 72. The farm is an ideal location for touring the local area. Walkers and cyclists are most welcome. Secure bike storage is available and a drying room is available for your use.
Children under the age of three years stay free of charge. Those aged 3-12 years are charged at £15 per night.

Located within Northumberland National Park with easy access to the Lake District and Kielder Reservoir, The Old Repeater Station is well situated for a visit to Northumberland. Hadrians Wall is ten minutes away and the famous sites of Houseteads and Vindolanda are both within four miles. The historic market towns of Hexham and Haltwhistle are within eight miles. We are ideally situated for walkers and cyclists due to our close proximity to Hadrian's Wall. Drivers can leave their car here if preferred to visit sites along the Wall. The Hadrian's Wall Bus Service which calls at all the main Roman sites passes the front door.
The Old Repeater Station is unique, a large detached stone building with a slate roof. The property makes extensive use of eco / green technology including geothermal heating and wood burning stoves. Our water comes from a private source for domestic usage and also heats the building via a ground source heat pump. Also provided are a licensed bar, cafe facilities, packed lunches, lunch and dinner.
