Strathallan Guest House is a beautiful Georgian house dating from the middle of the 19th Century and once formed part of the estate of Penrose Manor on the edge of the ancient market town of Helston.
Strathallan Guest House has been tastefully and sympathetically modernised to cater for today's discerning visitor. There is on-site parking for our guests' use and our seven guest bedrooms are particularly well appointed. Included with all rooms are:

Although Strathallan Guest House is situated in the heart of this lovely old town, it is nevertheless quiet and peaceful. There is a secluded garden in which you may wish to relax, and the beautiful Penrose walks with boating lake and skateboard park are just a step away. The National Trust woodland walks in the Penrose Valley are the finest in the West Country and these well marked trails take you around Loe Pool, Cornwall's largest freshwater lake and to the sandbar which separates the Pool from the Atlantic Ocean.

Sarah and Trevor, Proprietors since March 2004, would like to welcome you to their traditional Cornish stone cottage guesthouse. We provide quality accommodation combined with a personal, warm and friendly service. We enjoy making our guests feel welcome and at home.
We have six Guest Bedrooms all of which are equipped with a fully controllable central heating radiator, colour television, radio alarm clock, telephone, shower gel, soap and tissues, hairdryer, kettle and complimentary basket of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.
The comfortable Lounge boasts a Wood-burning Stove, which, on a chilly night creates a cosy room in which to read, watch television or play games. Maps, walking books as well as Local Heritage Books are available together with a selection of board games.
Breakfast is served in the dining room from 8.00 am until 9.00 am (or earlier by arrangement). Either a full English breakfast or a Continental breakfast is available along with a selection of cereals, toast, fruit and yoghurt. All our food is freshly cooked and we use locally sourced produce where possible and free range eggs from a local farm. Special dietary requirements can be easily catered for by prior arrangement.
For the comfort and safety of all our guests we operate a No Smoking Policy throughout Lyndale Cottage.
To the front of the Cottage is a garden patio area where guests are welcome to relax and watch the world go by and our private car park at the rear of the cottage gives peace of mind to our guests.

Mandeley Guest House was built in the 1950s and has undergone extensive modernisation since 1992. It can accommodate a maximum of six guests in very comfortable surroundings.
The current owners are Paul and Birgitt. Paul was actually born in the house and works locally as a Paramedic. He can assist guests with his wealth of local knowledge. His wife Birgitt runs their warm and friendly Bed and Breakfast.
Mandeley offers secure off-road parking and it is just 10 minutes walk to Helston town centre.
We are open all year except for Christmas and New Year.
Bus Stop only 200m away.
Mandeley Guest House has three double/twin bedrooms - two standard and one en suite all on the ground floor at the rear of the house overlooking the garden. The rooms offer comfortable accommodation and provide peace and quiet for a good night's sleep.
All rooms are tastefully co-ordinated and offer remote controlled television, alarm clock, hair dryer and a variety of teas, hot chocolate and coffee with complimentary biscuits. Ironing facilities can be provided on request.
Breakfast is served in our lighthouse themed dining room and guests enjoy their own living room with open gas fire and views out to the garden.

Isabel and Terry will make you most welcome in our picturesque, cosy, traditional Cornish stone built cottage, which has been modernised inside to provide the quality and comfort expected by the most discerning bed and breakfast visitors.
Roslyn Cottage is easily identified by its profusion of large flowering hanging baskets and pots which make such a stunning picture throughout the summer months.
Relax and enjoy the charming and tastefully furnished rooms which complement the open beamed ceilings, deep stone walls and inglenook fireplaces which will make your stay so pleasurable.
Our lovely en-suite bedroom, which can also be used as a family room, is located on the ground floor and most ideal for the less mobile who experience some difficulty in negotiating stairs.
We also have a double bedded and twin bedded room located on the first floor.
Complementary tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each room which are also equipped with colour televisions and wash hand basins for your personal comfort and enjoyment.
For further peace and quiet, you are welcome to relax in our sun lounge which overlooks the gardens at the rear of the cottage.
