Newbury Manor Hotel is an Eighteenth Century, Three Star, Grade II listed building set in 9 acres of natural water meadows, rivers and woodlands. The hotel and its restaurant have recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment.
Ideally located for golfing, racing and fishing, Newbury Manor is also an ideal base for exploring the area. For golf fans we are within 10 minutes drive of Parasampia golf course with another 4 courses within 20 minutes drive. Fishing is possible at either of the two rivers, Kennet & Lambourn,that wind through the grounds.
Located just off the M4, junction 13, but still in a very quiet, tranquil area, we are just 70 minutes from London and 40 minutes from Heathrow. Newbury Racecourse is even closer, taking just 6 minutes in a taxi, whilst the town centre with its park, shops and pubs can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Both Highclere Castle and the tranquil Donnington Castle ruin are within 10-15 minutes drive, and the area is also excellent for both walking and cycling with Greenham Common just 10 minutes away.
Relax with a stroll around the grounds or drink at the bar followed by a meal at our popular and established restaurant, set on the river itself and accessed by a bridge from the hotel grounds. Freshly cooked, locally sourced food is served in an idyllic environment complete with panoramic views.
