Three Legged Cross nestles between the village of Ashley Heath, which lays claim to the shortest high street in England and the equally charming village of Horton which was used as the setting for the film Far From the Madding Crowd. Situated amid heathlands and beautiful scenery of East Dorset. The village is said to have taken its name from a wooden cross mounted on top of a tall tripod, used as a direction beacon to travellers crossing the extensive heath. We have a solar heated swimming pool which is situated in its own private courtyard. We of course have central heating throughout, log burners, guest lounge and bar with digital television . Laundry service, tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. The choice of Full English breakfast or continental breakfast and our picnic hampers available on request for a truly special packed lunch.
