23 Mayfield, formerly Barony Guest House, is a family run Victorian detached guest house situated one mile from Edinburgh City Centre owned and operated by the former owners of Aonach Mor Guest House. Within the 19th century exterior you will find quality cornicing and many more original features.
The accommodation has all you need for a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, including wireless free internet and our drawing room where you may enjoy the ambience from our antique leather Chesterfields.
We endeavor to make our rooms as comfortable as possible. All rooms have solid mahogany furniture hand carved, are of good size, equipped with central heating, ensuite (some with baths), large LCD TVs, coffee table and armchairs, radio/alarms, hair driers and hospitality trays. Also available for guests is an Xbox. Our family room also has a Nintendo Wii.

Edinburgh castle, King Arthur's seat and a labyrinth of tunnels and dungeons provide similar excitement for history buffs whilst those simply looking for a place to shop in fine style will not be disappointed either.
One of the trendiest part of town isLeith. There are many restaurants, bars and now the Ocean Terminal where you can see the Royal Yacht Britannia.
