" Allt Gynack Guest House is a family owned private guest house, situated at the West End of Kingussie High Street next to the River Gynack. Set in its own grounds, it has a residents private car park at the rear, with secure parking for motorbikes and bicycles.

We have 5 comfortable bedrooms. The en-suite rooms are 1 double room and 2 single rooms with power showers. We also have 1 double/family room and 1 super king double/twin bedded room both with standard facilities (including bathrobes) - these two bedrooms share a full bathroom and have an extra separate WC. All our rooms have thermostatically controlled radiators, colour television, hairdryer, complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and radio alarm clock.

WiFi available - our single rooms are also equipped with desks, ideal for the business traveller.

Secure parking for bicycles and motorbikes. Drying facilities.

Due to the number of excellent restaurants / eating establishments within easy reach of Allt Gynack we do not provide evening meals. However we will be happy to advise you on local availability and have sample menus for your perusal. Or you can bring in a take-away evening meal and use our dining room. We are not licensed but please feel free to bring in your own wine and we will provide the glasses!

Owing to its central location, Kingussie makes an excellent base for touring further a-field - north to Inverness and the Moray Firth, south to Perthshire, east to the castles of Deeside or westwards towards Fort William and Oban.

Dogs Welcome, free of charge, but in designated bedrooms only. Dogs are welcome in Room 1 or 2. The ideal bedroom is Room 2, it is not en-suite but it is a large room with plenty of space for 2 dogs. If you are bringing your dog it would be best to telephone in advance if possible so we can ensure the most suitable room for you and your pet is available.

There are lots of walks around Kingussie which our two tearaways tell us are great fun. "
