" Meadow Park Bed & Breakfast accommodation is spacious, centrally heated and comfortably furnished. Set on the outskirts of Buckland Brewer in North Devon, it provides panoramic views over its own farmland towards the distant hills of both Dartmoor and Exmoor.

We have ground floor double and twin-bedded rooms all with private facilities,beverage tray,hair dryer and colour television. All rooms have extensive views.

A comfortable lounge is available at all times and guests can enjoy relaxing in the spacious garden or taking a leisurely stroll through the village. There is plenty of off road parking.

A full English breakfast is offered with options for the smaller appetite. Local produce is used wherever possible. Excellent food is served at the local 13th century thatched Inn which is within walking distance of Meadow Park. Other recommended restaurants/country pubs are within close proximity offering a wide choice of local produced food including the traditional cream tea.

Please note that this is a non smoking establishment and regretfully not suitable for dogs.

" The historic town of Great Torrington is less than six miles away, where you can play golf or take in the views from the Commons. Places worth a visit are the RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal Factory and shop and Torrington 1646 and the Heritage Museum.

Bideford

Approximately six miles to the north is the market town of Bideford where fishing and cargo vessels moor at the quayside. Bideford quay is also the departure point for the MS Oldenburg which provides day trips for visitors to Lundy Island.

Coastal Walks

You can walk along the rugged coastal paths of both the North Devon and North Cornwall coastline with its magnificent views, coves and picturesque harbours.

Barnstaple

Barnstaple is around 15 miles from Buckland Brewer; its busy markets, wide range of shops and award winning floral displays attract visitors from miles around.

Appledore

Near Bideford is the quaint fishing village of Appledore with its history of ship building.

Westward Ho!

On the coast is the sandy resort of Westward Ho! with its famous pebble ridge and golf course.

Clovelly

Clovelly, the famous coastal cobbled village is approximately 12 miles to the west as is the charming coastal village of Bucks Mills.
