Bed and Breakfast, Richmond B&B
Arandale 5 STAR Guest House
For bed and breakfast in Richmond North Yorkshire, Arandale Guest House is a delightful three storey Victorian house, built in 1870, with an elevated frontage that has retained many of the original features, including the fireplaces. Arandale Guest House has been sympathetically modernised using colours and materials to blend in with the character of the property.
Your hosts, Paul and Tina Lambert, have but one aim; that is to make your stay with them as pleasant and relaxing as possible whilst promoting the old adage "Nothing is too much trouble" to the full.
Arandale Guest House in North Yorkshire is a mere three minute walk on level pavements from the historic Georgian town of Richmond, the many attractions of which can be found on the Out and About page which also provides information on many other places of interest within a short drive from the town.
Cyclists and walkers, taking part in the Coast to Coast walk perhaps, are welcome at Arandale Guest House.
Room 1 - En Suite
This is a large, comfortable room with a Super-King bed. There is a large en-suite bathroom that boasts a (modern) Victorian roll top bath as well as having a large, fully tiled double shower. The bedroom faces front, overlooking Richmond, with the Castle keep and other historical buildings in view.
The Super-King brass bedstead is the centrepiece of the room. But this room offers many, less obvious embellishments. To begin with, there is the en-suite shower room with WC and double shower. Added to that there is also a dressing room/morning room where you may sit and enjoy your morning coffee - or indeed your afternoon tea - in comfort and privacy.
The only bedroom with a balcony; this room has a double bed and a WC and double shower en-suite. The balcony overlooks the rear, enclosed garden with its ambient lighting at night. Sit out and enjoy your morning coffee or take tea whilst you soak up a little sunshine.
Relax and enjoy the benefits of the "Arandale Hot Tub"!
The hot tub can hold up to six people and private, 30 minutes sessions can be booked. Soak up the benefits of a warm and soothing massage that relieves anxiety and relaxes tense muscles, soothes headaches and reduces back pain.
Medical experts agree that anyone wanting to induce sleep - especially those being kept awake by aches and pain - will benefit greatly from soaking in warm water about two hours before bedtime.
Bath robes and disposable slippers will be supplied; please bring your own swimwear.
