Ashleigh House is a beautiful Victorian Villa of enormous character and charm ideally situated in a quiet residential street just a short walk from the Harbour. Meadfoot Lane is restricted to residents and visitor parking only, making it virtually traffi-free and guaranteeing peace and quiet.

Many guests choose to have a holiday from driving as the shops, beaches, restaurants, cafe bars, tourist attractions and Theatres are so close at hand.

Ashleigh House has been owned by the Smale family since 1992 and in that time has established a reputation for comfort, cleanliness, hospitality and good food at value for money prices. Many guests return year after year and have become friends.

We offer just four rooms which ensures personal attention and a homely atmosphere. All rooms have either ensuite facilities or private bathroom, are comfortably furnished and come complete with colour TV, clock radio, beverage tray and towels. The rooms are cleaned daily. Hair dryers and ironing facilities are available.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and here at Ashleigh House we take breakfast seriously. There is a selection of cereals and fruit juice and a choice of teas and coffees. Guests can choose either a full English Breakfast or go for a choice from the Light breakfast menu. All are freshly cooked to order by resident host Dawn Smale.

There is a wonderful lounge which has a widescreen TV and a selection of family films, books and games. We also have a small garden at the front of the house with views across Torquay where guests can sit and take in the evening sun, listen to the birds and chat with passers by.

In addition, there is a charming residents lounge with a wide screen television and a selection of family videos.

After a good nights sleep, a satisfying full English Breakfast is available between 8.30am and 9.30am in the elegant dining room.
