Looking for B&B near Alton Towers Resort? Bank House is only 1 MILE AWAY and within easy walking distance of Alton's pubs and restaurants.

All of the rooms have been refurbished and are now themed. You get a choice from a menu for breakfast which can be viewed on our website. Each room is equipped with freesat tv/dvd, hairdryer and radio/alarm (so you don't get up late for the rides!). On arrival you will find your room has facilities for making tea, coffee, hot chocolate (biscuits too). The rooms are well furnished and central heated for cold evenings. All our rooms have en- suite facilities with shaver points and are stocked with a selection of toiletries.

The four poster rooms are our most popular rooms. The bathrooms contain a whirlpool bath for an extra touch of luxury. Fill the bath, add a few bath salts then step in and relax while the whirlpool does its work.

The other double rooms all have king size (6' wide) beds, giving plenty of space for a good night's sleep. Most of the rooms are large enough to fit a travel cot if you have a baby. We also have a twin room, suitable for adults and children alike. The double and twin rooms all have modern shower rooms with mains pressure walk in showers,

All the rooms contain a welcome pack giving details of the facilities at Bank House and in the village in general, as well as details of other local attractions and places to visit.

We can supply bottles of wine or champange, chocolates or bouquets of flowers to be waiting in your room on arrival, just let us know your requirements when booking. And remember, we want you to enjoy your stay, if there's a problem with your room, or anything else during your stay please let us know, we'll try our best to put it right.

Alton is in the Churnet valley, which forms part of the Tissington Trail and Staffordshire Way. Sandwiched between the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Derbyshire Peak District.

Alton is surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty and there's loads to do apart from Alton Towers. Go paint-balling, horse riding, cycling, fishing, shooting, sailing, canoeing, walking in the peaks, swimming...... and when you've worn yourself out doing that lot, visit the zoological park, Chatsworth, the cinema and bowling alley or if you time your visit right, have a day at the races in Uttoxeter.
