Brookside Guest House Brixham is a contemporary private guesthouse; it is owned and run by Tess and John Harris, who have refurbished it over the past year to the highest standards.

Brookside Guest House Brixham has been classified as a 5 Star Guest House with an additional GOLD Award for product excellence which is awarded annually by Quality in Tourism and Visit Britain - an organisation created to promote Britain to the rest of the world and England to the British. We have alos recently been awarded the Breakfast Award from Visit England.

The new Brookside Guest House Brixham is now an unstuffy yet stylish boutique guesthouse, with contemporary furnishings and relaxed feel. We have 4 rooms, ranging from doubles to a deluxe suite.

Parking is limited in Brixham, however we have the added bonus of off road parking for 8 cars, so you can ensure your stay remains as stressfree as possible.

On the ground floor is our flagship suite which even includes a private lounge area for the ultimate stay. All rooms are spotlessly clean, very confortable and modern.

We can offer you a Double en suite, a Double bedroom with sitting area, a lovely Junior Suite, or you could indulge yourself in our Premier Suite!

Rooms are doubles but are available for single use at an attractive discount (subject to season), all have colour flat screen televisions plus DVD,s with an upto date selection of films etc. Tea/coffee making facilities. Most rooms have modern en suite shower rooms, for which carefully chosen toiletries are provided for your addedd convenience.

There is Wi-Fi Internet access in all rooms which is available without charge.

If you would like to keep cool drinks for those hot summer days we have provided a fridge in every room.

If you are visiting us out of season or in cooler climes central heating is installed throughout the guest house.

For breakfast, we aim to accommodate all tastes. Our policy is to use all local organic produce (where possible). We offer free range eggs, smoked-bacon, or alternatively smoked-salmon or kippers. Further, we provide at least 4 fresh fruits, melon, figs, prunes, apricots plus fresh strawberries and other seasonal berries. This is in addition to your choice of cereal, hot toast and freshly brewed tea or coffee.

Brixham is one of the three towns, which make up the region of Torbay.

Situated on the South Devon coast Torbay has become affectionately known as The English Riviera. Torbay has over 22 miles of coastline to explore. Entertainments close by include Churston go karts, Broadsands beach, Goodrington theme park with Quay West water rides and Cayman short hole golf.

Dartmouth and England's oldest town Totnes are a short bus or car ride away and both Paignton and Torquay are within easy commuting distance.

Brixham is famous for its fresh fish and close to The Brookside are a number of fish restaurants and eateries. If you enjoy walking and nature Dartmoor Country Park can be accessed by coach or car and Paignton zoo is on the main Paignton to Brixham road.
