Eaves Hall Country Hotel
Right on the Hotel’s doorstep is the historic town of Clitheroe. Visit the magnificent castle which is open daily along with a farming market. Clitheroe also has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy!
If you like historic castles take a trip to Skipton, a short journey from Eaves Hall, and visit the famous castle where the Battle of Marston Moore took place. Whilst you are there you can also visit its market and museum. Bolton Abbey is also open all year round and provides stunning walks and picnic spots.
Within easy reach of the Hotel is Bowland Forest, superb for walking with unsurpassable views. Nearby is Bowland’s Wild Boar Park, great for all the family and what’s more you have to drive though some spectacular scenery to get there. Also locally are the picturesque villages of Settle and Chip Norton and Stonehurst and its college where J A Tolkien, author of Lord of the Rings went to school.
For rail and history enthusiasts visit Worth Valley’s Heritage Railway & Steam Train which journeys through Bronté country visiting Oakworth Station. Again within easy reach by car from Eaves Hall.
