The Lamplighter is run by Nigel and his team, who look forward to welcoming you to the hotel. Situated on the famous Plymouth Hoe, close to the seafront and the historic Barbican with its cobbled streets and quay.

Equally close is the city centre with comprehensive shopping facilities, restaurants and entertainment venues in the form of the Theatre Royal, the Pavilions and Vue cinema complex, Plymouth Pavilions and city centre. For those requiring access to the naval base H.M.S. Raleigh, this is a mere 3 miles on a bus route.

Lamplighter is only minutes from the railway and coach stations and 850 yards from the ferry terminal.

We have ensured that the 9 bedrooms are of the highest standard, with 7 rooms fully en-suite and 2 with private facilities.

Boat trips, fishing, wind surfing, scuba diving and water skiing are all available. Continuing the maritime theme, the superb Plymouth Aquarium offers a unique sea-world experince.

Within Plymouth city centre you can shop to your heart's content in the shopping boulevards and precincts. A thoroughly modern experience.
