A warm welcome awaits you upon your arrival at this old farmhouse. Whether you've come from near or far you'll quickly relax into the tranquillity and peacefulness that surrounds you and with seven individually designed en-suite rooms available you're sure to find one that suits you.

Lane Head Farm has non-smoking accommodation to sleep a maximum of 14 people with 1 twin room, 4 double rooms and 2 four poster rooms.

All our rooms have complimentary tea and coffee making facilities (fair-trade coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and the tea is ethically sourced Lakeland Tea), Flatscreen TVs, Ipod docking radio alarm clocks, hairdryers, complimentary toiletries and complimentary mineral water on day of arrival. In addition our four poster bedrooms are larger in size, have cafetiere coffee (with fresh milk provided in mini fridge), home made biscuits and complimentary mineral water daily.

Whether you choose to relax in your room or in our comfortable guest lounge is up to you. Feel free to borrow magazines, books and walk guides from the lounge and take them back to your room if you prefer.

If you're lucky you may even glimpse our resident red squirrel on one of the feeders or playing on the lawn. We have a number of different bird feeders as well which attract Greater Spotted Woodpeckers, Siskins and Goldfinches to name a few. Don't forget to visit Dodds Wood during your stay to see the Ospreys. The viewpoint and exhibiton will be staffed again from early April 2012 until the Ospreys leave again.

Located in the spectacular northern Lake District; situated just 10 minutes drive from Keswick and Ullswater, it is a great base to explore from. The Lake District National Park is only 40 miles long and 33 miles wide so no where is far from our front door.
