All rooms in the guesthouse are equipped to a high standard and are centrally heated, have colour T.V., radio/alarm, hair dryer, hot drinks making facilities, magazines, information on St.Ives and the majority have stunning sea views. Single, twin, double and a family room are available and most rooms have their own en-suite or private facilities.

For the comfort and safety of all our guests we are a non smoking guesthouse and regret that we cannot accommodate pets.

Each morning guests enjoy a highly acclaimed breakfast.

We are just a few minutes from all the St.Ives attractions and have car parking available for our guests.

Monterey Guesthouse, with its wonderful sea views, is situated in the beautiful fishing town of St.Ives, Cornwall, you can forget your car as it is just five minutes walk from the golden sands of Porthmeor bay, the picturesque harbour with its water front cafes, the Tate and other art galleries, the cobbled high street with its many shops and many other activities including the Cornish coastal path, bird and seal watching, surfing or simply a deck chair on the sand in which to sit and read or doze or whatever you wish.

Monterey Guesthouse and St.Ives is an ideal base to explore Cornwall with its good road, rail and coach services. The internationally renown Eden Project (St.Austell), the recently opened National Maritime Museum (Falmouth), Land's End, National Trust properties or any of the other attractions are all within easy reach and add variety to a holiday or weekend break in this beautiful part of Britain.
