The Garden Flat faces south and opens onto the garden which has been featured in several books and on the cover of 'Gardening Which'.

The flat has a cottage atmosphere with pine furniture including a welsh dresser with antique china. It is carpeted throughout and everything is of a very high standard.

The large bedroom sleeps two in handmade new single beds. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, fan heater, heated towel rail, wash basin with razor point, and WC.

The large sunny kitchen is fully fitted and contains a sofa bed, washer/drier, dishwasher, electric oven and hob with extractor hood, microwave, stainless steel saucepans, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge/freezer and colour TV.

There is plenty of storage space and extensive work surfaces. Towels and bed linen are provided. The flat is heated by storage heaters and there are no extra charges of any kind. Books on Sussex, the South Downs Way and Lewes are available and the owner is always very pleased to give you advice on where to go and what to do. It is warm, quiet and very comfortable and open all year round

Please note that a £ 100.00 deposit is required when booking this flat and the balance must be received four weeks before your arrival date.

The village of Kingston lies on the south facing slopes of the South Downs some 3 km from the county town of Lewes in the county of East Sussex.

It is equally suited to an overnight stay on the way to or from France via the Newhaven to Dieppe ferry service or for a relaxing break in the glorious Sussex countryside.

Kingston is ideally situated for those visiting the Glyndebourne Festival. Kingston falls within the boundaries of the new South Downs National Park.
