Old Daltongate House
The town has many festivals including the Flag Festival, Walking Festival, Dickensian and Charter Festival which includes the famous Lantern Procession.
From Ulverston you can visit the Peninsula’s prime tourist attractions including the much acclaimed South Lakes Wildlife Park plus the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Steam Railway and of course Ulverston is the childhood home of Stan Laurel and you can visit the museum and new statue, both of which are a short stroll away from the house.
For walkers Ulverston is the commencement of the Cumbria Way and we will prepare packed lunches for those who wish to take them.
