Rivendell is a very popular guesthouse for visitors both near and far. Barrie & Angela have run the guesthouse since 1990, and since then have gained a well deserved reputation for the quality of their welcome.

Our aim is to make your stay a memorable one so you may wish to stay again and again.

All the rooms at Rivendell St Ives offer a high standard of accommodation. All are en-suite except for the single room which has a shower room on the first floor. Rooms have TVs, hair dryers, alarm clocks. toiletries and tea and coffee facilities.

Ironing facilities are available if required.

Room rates are from £32 per person per night (single room winter prices).

Angela and Barrie will prepare a full English breakfast each morning of your stay, although lighter options are available!

Breakfast served 8.15 - 9.00 a.m.

We can cater for vegetarians and for those exploring other areas, we can provide packed lunches on request. Barrie is a qualified chef and all meals are prepared to the highest standard, using local produce wherever possible.

We are proud to have been presented with an RAC Dining Award.

Parking is available at Rivendell for most cars.

St. Ives charms the visitors with its stunning views, amazing light and golden beaches and clear blue sea. It has narrow winding cobbled streets and hidden gems around the corners. Small fishermans cottages, craft shops, art studios and galleries. The Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum, The Town Museum and Bernard Leach Pottery.

Walk a few minutes out of town and the breath-taking landscape of the Southwest Coast Path awaits for you to explore.

St. Ives really is a great place, there are great beaches, great views, the South West Coastal path and many attractions nearby.

St Ives is still an active fishing port so it has a fantastic atmosphere in the harbour and is something nto to be missed!

The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are only a drive from Rivendell.

West Cornwall must be one of the most beautiful areas in the British Isles, why not visit and see for yourself.
