The Rowcroft Lodge Paignton is just 100 yards level walk from the beach. This picture is taken from the cliff gardens which give superb views back to the beaches and the beautiful park, complete with boating lakes, which is right outside our front door!

Maybe you'll want too cool off with a swim in the safe blue waters of Goodrington Sands. The waters are safe and clean - perfect for the whole family. Watersports are available from the beach.

Young's Park, right outside the hotel - and the cliff gardens which rise from it - are beautifully illuminated at night. Bumper boats, crazy golf, go-karts, ice creams and refreshments are available during the day.

The Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway runs along the seafront from Goodrington station to Kingswear, linking to Dartmouth via a ferry. River cruises are optional (and beautiful).

What about trying the waterslides at Quaywest Waterpark - the UK's biggest water park - the amusements and gift shop - all just two minutes walk away from the Rowcroft!

Paignton harbour is just a few minutes walk away. You might fancy a boat trip or mackerel fishing for the family.

Why not try a visit to Pennywell Farm, winner of the Visitor Attraction of the Year award. Shire horses, Birds of Prey, a Pony Centre, a Play Barn, Crafts and the Farm itself make this a great family day out.

There is also Sailing and Surfing so there is something to suit all tastes!
