Shrewsbury Guest House
The Shrewsbury is ideally situated a short walk (approx. 300 yards) from the sea front and four minutes through the park to the town centre and market square.
An ideal guesthouse that is perfectly located for either business or pleasure. The Shrewsbury has been graded by Visit Britain and awarded 4 Stars, a silver award and a breakfast award.
We are a non-smoking guesthouse.
We will try to make your stay at the Shrewsbury as comfortable as possible. If you are coming by train or coach please let us know and we will arrange to collect you from the station or coach park.
The Shrewsbury offers 6 en-suite bedrooms comprising of two suites, two double rooms, a twin room and a family unit (main room with a double Bed and adjoining room with bunk beds)
The Shrewsbury is fully en-suite.
All rooms are equipped with colour TV & DVD, complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, toiletries and a clock Radio. Our 2 suites either have a separate lounge or a seating area that offer the upmost in comfort and luxury.
Ironing facilities are available on the first floor.
All rooms are non-smoking.
Complimentary tea or coffee is served on arrival in our comfortable dining room.
Breakfast is available between 8-9am. Guests are invited to help themselves to cereal, yoghurt, juice etc and a full English cooked breakfast will be served shortly thereafter.
Great Yarmouth has a great deal to offer with various attractions to suit all. The Golden Mile with it’s restaurants, nightclubs and amusements is just a short walk from the Shrewsbury or five minutes walk will find you in the town centre with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants.
Firework displays have now become a regular event in Great Yarmouth on Wednesday nights, the fun starts at 8pm with a musical roadshow on the jetty at Marine Parade followed by fireworks at approximately 10 p.m. Displays will take place from end of July through to end of August.
The area of Great Yarmouth includes Gorleston on Sea and twenty-one villages that are set in beautiful coastal and rural settings alongside the famous Norfolk Broads. The surrounding countryside beckons with historic houses, fine gardens, wildlife parks, castles, crafts and bygone days collections to visit.
