Attractions

Conveniently situated, the shopping centre of Great Malvern, The Malvern Festival Theatre, Winter Gardens and Priory Park are only a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Sidney House at Great Malvern is only a short walk from access to the Malvern Hills which rise steeply from the Severn Valley. The highest point, The Worcestershire Beacon, commands unforgettable views to all points of the compass and there are miles of hill paths for the walker. We offer a map loan and clothes drying service.

Malvern became famous in the last century as a spa town and Malvern Water is bottled here and there is a complimentary bottle in every room. The Priory Church dates from the 11th century and is famous for its wealth of 15th century glass and wall tiles. The British Camp, just south of Malvern, is a fine example of an ancient hill fort.

Local attractions include the Three Counties Show, the Three Choirs Festival held at Worcester, Hereford or Gloucester in September and the famous Malvern Festival associated with Shaw and Elgar whose birthplace is near Malvern.

Malvern is a convenient centre for touring the Cotswolds, Shakespeare's Country, the Wye Valley and the Welsh Borderland.
