Springfield House is an elegant Georgian town-house which has been tastefully modernised, while retaining a host of period features.

It is a Grade II listed building in an elevated position with far-reaching views over both countryside and the glorious Dorset coastline. Set within a recently acknowledged World Heritage Site and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

it is ideally situated not only for the beaches, shops and restaurants of Lyme Regis, but also as a base for exploring this fascinating and unspoilt region.

Springfield is within easy walking distance of the beach and town centre, where there can be found a large selection of Pubs and Restaurants to suite all tastes and budgets.

We are a non-smoking house, although guests are welcome to smoke in the garden or conservatory.

Situated in the south west of Dorset, Lyme Regis is an unspoiled and historic seaside resort. Famous for it's geology and fossil finds and surrounded by beautiful coastlines and stunning countryside, it is designated as both an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and also a World Heritage Site.

There is a wealth of guided tours including, a tour of the lifeboat station, a ghost tour, a historical tour of the town and a guided tour of Lyme's jurassic coast with assisted fossil hunting.

Special annual events include a Jazz festival, Lifeboat Week, Regatta and Carnival Week. In addition to the town's many historic pubs ther is an old style cinema, a theatre, an award-winning museum, Dinosaur land and several fossil exhibitions.
