Welcome to Stourview Cottage a 5* Luxury family run B&B. This 300 year Kent peg tiled cottage was built in 1720 and although has been fully renovated we have retained all the beams and woodwork including panelling and doorways.

Stourview Cottage is not visible from the lane, White Hill, as it is up its own steep and private driveway. Once at the top there is plenty of turning & private parking for all guests.

Stourview Cottage stands high on the Downs overlooking the nearest village of Wye & Boughton Alluph.

The cottage has one groundfloor suite and two additional Kingsize bedrooms plus a single available on the first floor.

The garden suite has its own entrance & private garden, a sitting room with private dining & a wood burning stove.The Garden Suite is a kingsize bedroom with the option of a single bed within for just £50 per night. There is also the option of a second adjoining or seperate suite with a luxury bathroom with slipper bath & walk in shower called The Greenroom.this also comes as one kingsize or adjoining additional kingsize bedroom called the White room all at additional room rates.Sleeping a max of 5 persons. Or you may rent the whole cottage sleeping 6 adults and two children.

We have retained many original beams and wood panelling, mainly in the dining room and in the Green and white bedrooms. So you may have to duck through our old wooden doorways, hallways and our stairwell, but we are still able to offer you full head height in most of the bedrooms.

The pretty cottage gardens wraps around the rear of the property offering each guest their own private seating area, to sit and enjoy the fabulous views.

Not only can you come for your stay/holiday at Stourview Cottage B&B, we offer professional wedding make-up, beauty therapy & massage therapy treatments all in house. We can create the perfect pamper day or birthday party or evan a hen weekend.

Also ideal as an anniversary gift or romantic weekend break.

Just 2 miles from Stourview Cottage is the quaint village of Wye, one of Kent’s finest villages with fine restaurants & public houses, one of which The Tickled Trout, sits on the River Stour and conveniently next to the local pretty Victorian style train station.

We can offer (subject to availability and for a small fee) a local collection and drop off service to and from Wye, and the Ashford International Train Station and also our local recommended restaurants.

Your Breakfast will be cooked on my Marshall (Aga) range, using only the finest local ingredients. We try to cater for Vegatarians & Vegans for breakfast and supper. Please advise us at time of booking if you have any special dietry requirments. Vegatarien options and Soya avaialble.
