The Lodge at Winchelsea offers something for everyone, including a contemporary piano bar serving snacks and cocktails, a sumptuous restaurant and regular entertainment. Newly refurbished bar and restaurant and recently refurbished rooms supplemented by a private meeting/function/dining room. The Lodge at Winchelsea is surrounded by beautiful countryside 1 mile from the sea. Situated alongside the A 259 – Hastings to Rye Road – it blends into the beautiful rural countryside of one of the cinque port town, Winchelsea, officially the smallest town in England and only 3 miles from Rye. At the heart of this historic part of East Sussex, it is the ideal place to stay. Whatever the reason for your visit we will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All 28 well appointed rooms (8 located on ground floor level), are en suite and have tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and TVs. There is car parking for all guests.
