Overlooking the beach at Porth, The Windward is ideally situated on the quiet outskirts of Newquay (1.5 miles from the town centre and 3.5 miles from Newquay Airport). So ideal if you are looking for a B&B near Newquay but want to be away from the busy Centre.

We are close to the stunning Surf beaches of Newquay such as Watergate Bay, Lusty Glaze and Fistral Beach, and the famous South West Coast Path is literally on our doorstep, just across the road from our front door.

We pride ourselves on our fantastic breakfast...... Picture starting the day with a large cafetiere of Drury's coffee or a pot of English tea, accompanied with cereals of your choice, fruit, and hot toast and marmalade.....Imagine catching the smell of sizzling bacon cooking in the kitchen and then being presented with your "Full English"...... whilst seated comfortably in the breakfast conservatory overlooking the beach listening to some great relaxing music....... pure bliss!

We have 13 comfortably appointed Double Bedrooms, ranging from our two luxurious Sea-View Premier rooms overlooking the beach, (how about a glass of wine on your own balcony?) to our very functional Standard and Twin-Bedded rooms.

All our Bedrooms are fully en-suite and are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hair-dryers and Flatscreen freeview televisions with DVD players. Everything is designed to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

There is ample secure parking to the rear of the hotel.

Relax with a glass of chilled white or a fruity red from our eclectic Wine list... a cold beer... a refreshing "gin and tonic" or a house speciality "jug of Pimms"...even simply a soft drink or a cup of tea...The Windward Bar is a place to unwind and meet up.

The Windward is situated on the craggy North Cornwall coast where the Atlantic waves crash in, with fabulous clean wide sandy beaches and a superb natural environment.

Endless golden sands that are washed by the Ocean twice in every twenty four hours; rock pools with tiny fish, anenomes and seaweed to delight the children; a crystal clear sea that invigorates the body and delights the eye and provides the best conditions in the British Isles for that wonderful and thrilling sport of Surfing.
