Individually styled and themed rooms, carefully thought out interiors, quirky details, interesting corners, out of the ordinary and fabulous! And a full english breakfast!

A locally sourced breakfast is served between 9 and 9.30 in the dining room under a sparkling chandelier, with views of our victorian garden

Our rooms are extremely comfortable! If you like original antique furniture then you'll love them.

Each room is themed and styled to carefully reflect the influences and trends within the Late Victorian period. For example the Rococo Room, the Deco Room, and the Venetian Room. As an interior designer I have spent lots of time carefully choosing and making the soft furnishings for each room. Ladies you'll love it! Cushions, throws, chandeliers and lovely textiles abound. As such, nothing stays the same, improvements and changes are ongoing.

We do, of course, provide luxury toiletries, towels, dressing gowns, hairdryers, hospitality trays and much more.

Due to the historic significance of the building, not all our rooms are en-suite. However our policy is that only two rooms share a bathroom and there are additional WC's and washbasins , some with original mahogany seats, and some bedrooms have their original washbasins! Having run Woodside Villa for 18 months now this has not proved to be a problem. The general feedback from guests has been fantastic and we are constantly looking to improve
