Visiting Brighton?

There's so much to see and do

Brighton is the major part of the city of Brighton and Hove emerging as a health resort in the 18th century when sea bathing was popular. With the advent of railways in 1841 visitors from London were able to take day trips on the London to Brighton train, and Brighton experienced a massive population growth. More accommodation in Brighton was needed to satisfy more visitors, and there is now arguably more demand for places to stay in Brighton than anywhere else in the UK.

Brighton has 2 Universities

Brighton is great if you want to go shopping, and luckily there is a huge variety of shops to choose from whatever the weather, from quirky boutique shops in The Lanes, to big names stores in Churchill Square, just a 10 minute walk from Brighton Train Station

If you want the Cinema then Cineworld Brighton is very popular because it has 8 screens and is close to Brighton Pier, another attraction.

The Brighton Marathon is now in it's 3rd year, and following the success of the Olympics the 2013 Brighton Marathon is expected to be very popular. The course passes the Brighton Pavilion and even takes in some fantastic views of the South Downs before finishing on Madeira Drive just east of Brighton Pier
