The house was originally the Manor Hotel built to accommodate visitors to Lydford Gorge, but in more recent times has been redeveloped into residential properties. It is an ideal location for short breaks in and around Dartmoor and West Devon, weekends away, business travellers, or for those wishing for a longer stay. Situated between Tavistock and Okehampton, Lydford is also near the Devon/Cornwall border and means that the rugged North Cornish coastline, the picturesque South Devon coast and many other great destinations are less than an hour's drive away. With the National Trust Lydford Gorge and the famous White Lady Waterfall adjacent to the house, there are plenty of walking opportunities right on our doorstep.
