Started in 1947 with humble beginnings following the 2nd World War, the Edinburgh Fringe now attracts thousands of performers from all walks of life, some very famous names and some just starting out, it is now renowned as being the largest Arts festival in the World!



It takes place in Edinburgh for 3 weeks in August and most venues are based in the City Centre within a stones throw of each other, so getting between them is very easy. Finding a bed and breakfast near Edinburgh Fringe can be very difficult because everywhere gets booked up so we do recommend booking your B&B in Edinburgh as early as possible!
